Our founder, Ajo Balogun didn’t start with a grand plan,she started with a moment she couldn’t ignore. She met a brilliant young graduate, full of promise, yet working as a day labourer. He had done everything right, but the system had failed him. In that moment, the problem became clear: Africa doesn’t lack talent, it lacks a bridge between learning and real work.
That realization stayed with her. Drawing from her years at the UNDP and Ford Foundation, Ajo set out to build something different, Jobred. Not just a training program, but a system built around the “Whole Human,” where skills, confidence, and mental well-being come together to truly prepare people for work and life.
Today, that vision lives on in the Climate-Smart MegaHub, a solar-powered space where young people don’t just learn, they transform. It’s more than infrastructure; it’s a new pathway. Through JobRed, Ajo isn’t just responding to the future of work, she’s building it.
